Located on the scenic shores of Lac La Biche Lake, the Lac La Biche Mission Historical Site was established in 1853 by Oblate Missionaries. The site boasts guided tours of several historic buildings, community events hosted yearly, as well as cultural and historic exhibits. Some of the historically significant buildings on location include a church constructed in 1922, a convent that was built in 1894, and several other wood-frame structures including a garage, chicken coop, and laundry house.

Hike in Sir Winston Churchill Provincial Park

Located in Portage College’s Lac La Biche campus, this museum began in 1978 as a teaching collection for the school’s Native Arts and Culture programs. The collections showcase art from several different artists across multiple genres and tells the stories of various Indigenous art forms from coast to coast. Visitors of the museum can enjoy self-guided tours of Indigenous art from First Nations, Metis and Inuit cultures.
