Top Adventure Spots in Drayton Valley: Eagle Point Provincial Park

If you’re looking for the ultimate outdoor adventure spots in Drayton Valley, look no further than Eagle Point Provincial Park. Located along the North Saskatchewan River Valley and connected to Blue Rapids Provincial Recreation Area, Eagle Point Provincial Park boasts a number of incredible recreation opportunities.

If you are looking to get outdoors during the summer months, the park offers many fun activities such as hiking and mountain biking. Head out onto the North Saskatchewan River to explore by canoe or kayak, or put your fishing rod to good use along the banks of the river. If you are a bird enthusiast, Eagle Point Provincial Park is a great place to go bird-watching as well with more than 145 bird species having been spotted in the park.

Winter in Drayton Valley can come with its challenges, but with activities such as cross-country skiing and snowshoeing available, it is definitely worth your while to get outside and explore all that Drayton Valley has to offer in the wintertime. There are three snowshoeing trail systems that total more than 35 kilometres, while the Pembina Nordic Ski Centre is located along the west side of the North Saskatchewan River and is a great spot to cross-country ski.

Drayton Valley is also home to a must-play golf destination, the Drayton Valley Golf Club.
