Standing 100 feet high, these four markers stand on the boundary of the third and fourth meridian, which separates Alberta and Saskatchewan. The Border Markers are representative of the survey stakes used during the original survey of the border between the two provinces. The themes behind the four markers include oil and gas, the Barr Colonists, agriculture, and First Nations & Metis. The space between the steel pillars of each marker represents the actual border between Alberta and Saskatchewan.
